Is the software HIPAA compliant?
Yes
Can the software bill electronically? To Medicare, Medicaid, Private?
Yes; all bills can be sent electronically using the ASC X12 EDI format.
Can providers also submit claims manually if they choose?
Yes; all claims can be printed on 1500 claim forms.
Do rentals have to be re-entered each month?
No; once a rental has been set up. You can re-submit rental claims with a simple click of the mouse.
Can payments be posted automatically?
Yes; If you recaive an Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA), all payments will be posted for you. Also, any adjustments will be made and if a claim is in error for any reason, the claim will be sent to the error queue.
Does the software recognize basic billing errors before submission?
In many cases yes errors will be found and pointed out. Of course with the complexity of the billing process, not all errors can be found.
Is training included in the purchase price?
Yes, definitly. In addition, our support lines are open 24/7 and someone will get in-touch with within 24hrs. Excluding weekend and holidays.
Can the software be customized to fit our unique circumstances?
In some cases yes. We will always work with you to try and meet any additional needs that you may have.
How many years has the product been available?
5 years.
Does the system work with crystal reports?
No. We have found Crystal Reports to be too restrictive. We use another application and can produce reports that are meaningful. Users have responded to us that they don't like nor understand crystal reports.
